The Litchfield Historical Society is excited to announce the return of our silent auction art show this spring with Creativity Blooms on Saturday, May 11th. Join us for an evening of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and creative artwork donated by your favorite local artists.

Event Details
Date: Saturday, May 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Where: The Litchfield History Museum, 7 South Street, Litchfield, CT 06759
Tickets: $35 Advance, $45 at the door. Submitting artists receive a complimentary ticket to attend the event.
Summary of the Event
• A silent auction featuring artwork donated by local artists. We ask that no piece be larger than roughly 8”x10”. There is no requirement to frame artwork. The Society will have a limited number of canvases available for those who need one.
• All media: painting, photographs, collages, mixed media, fabric, sculpture, jewelry, etc. are welcome!
• Works of all shapes are encouraged, so long as they stay within the 8”x10” guidelines.
• To encourage multiple bids, all works will start at $50 with minimum bid increments of $25.
• This event typically draws between 150 and 200+ people; it is a great opportunity to showcase your work to the community!

Please drop off artwork for the auction by May 1st at the Litchfield Historical Society (7 South Street).
