2026 Summer Internship
The Litchfield Historical Society (LHS) is committed to preparing future museum professionals through our Summer Internship Program. Interns with be engaged in meaningful and varied experiences, introducing them to the breadth of work available in small museums. Our Summer Internship Program is designed to provide an immersive experience for undergraduate and graduate students in a museum setting. Interns will gain hands-on experience, while expanding their knowledge of museum practice, theory, and operations.
Applications will be accepted until March 13.
Museum Guide
The Litchfield Historical Society provides professional development opportunities for Lakeview High School students interested in careers in art, history, education, and communication. Hiring for the Museum Guide Crew occurs twice a year, in early spring and late summer.
