Biographical Notes:
Barzillai Hudson was first married to Govenor Zebulon Seymour's daughter, Margaret Seymour. Together they had one son, William Hudson.
Barzillai remarried Hannah Bunce Hudson, a widow and owner of the Connecticut Courant, known today as the Hartford Courant. Together they had four children, one of whom became Mayor of Hartford, Henry Hudson.
