Description:
Oil on canvas. Woaman facing front and slightly to the left. She is seated wearing a black dress which has a V neckline with a white blouse or insert. There is a red shawl wrapped around her arms below the shoulders. She has dark brown hair which is parted in the middle and hangs to her ears before being pulled back behind her neck and brown eyes. The painting is framed in a wooden frame painted gold, elaborately carved with several rows of decoration.
