Special programs take time, so please contact us early.
All programs are based on the Connecticut State Framework.

Programs
are most effective when students are approximately the same age.
Groups must have a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 30. Reservations
are required.
For
more information or to make a reservation, please call the educator
at 860-567-4501, or e-mail education@litchfieldhistoricalsociety.org.
Programs
for Home Schoolers:
All school programs are available for groups of home schoolers.
The Litchfield Historical Society can provide materials to help
prepare students for their museum visit, as well as materials to
follow the visit. All museum experiences include participatory activities,
primary sources, and role-playing. Programs also have the option
of a half-hour long hands-on workshop.
