Biographical Notes:
Ann Woodruff Whittlesey was born April 5, 1756 to Jacob and Anne Griswold Woodruff of Litchfield, Connecticut. On April 20, 1775 she wed Roger Newton Whittlesey, a farmer originally from New Milford. During their marriage Ann and Roger had thirteen children. Ann passed away on March 7, 1825.
