Silk and watercolor on silk embroidery depicting a landscape executed by one of the Bevier sisters who attended the Litchfield Female Academy. The needlework shows a sloping shore with two trees in the foreground. A body of water cuts through the middle of the composition with a bridge stretching from one shore to the other. A small white house is seen on the right bank with many trees behind it. Mountains can be seen in the distance.
