Description:
Small hand made red leather shoe with a blue ribbon trim. Shoe is filled with eleven small handmade and painted fabric figures constructed from thick, stiff fabric, depicting the "Old Woman who Lived in a Shoe". Figures are all dressed in hand-stitched fabric costumes and secured to the shoe and each other with thread to create one unit. The interior of the shoe is stuffed with wool. Leather body of shoe is stitched to a cardboard sole.
