Description: Debates on free speech and censorship were widespread during the time of the Litchfield Law School, and the discussion continues today. Join us for a special lecture and conversation on the First Amendment. Author Nadine Strossen , president of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) from 1991 to 2008, will be discussing her newest book, HATE: Why We Should Resist it With Free Speech, Not Censorship and local historian John Dasher will lead a Q&A discussion.
