Biographical Note for Nettleton, Charles (1819-1892) : Charles Nettleton was born in Washington, Conn., in 1819 and studied law with Gideon Hollister of Litchfield. Nettleton practiced in Naugatuck, New Haven, and New York City, where he also pursued business interests. He died in 1892.
